This old cabinet was rescued from a dirt floor crawl space of our families farm. It was in really rough shape, unfortunately I only took one pictures before starting but the feet were rotten as well as the small drawers and there was no bottom drawer. After sanding it down, restructuring the carcass, gluing it back together , I set out to fabricate the new drawers and update the slides. Then, since the drawer fronts were curved, I laminated plywood to the appropriate curvature. The inlayed veneer is my first attempt to use a laser cutter to create the opposing coloured inlay. Once complete I stained and oiled the dresser, with a solid cherry top.
